The Innovation Challenges will bring together people from rural communities, a range of businesses and organisations from across multiple sectors and researchers to work with the people we will be supporting.
Together we will discuss and investigate opportunities to alleviate issues experienced within rural communities and organisations will be supported to develop products and services that are new to their organisation in response to these challenges.
To help these new products and services to be developed, the Rural Design Centre Innovation Project is able to provide an element of grant funding.
This funding can help your business to acquire external and specialist support that you might need to bring your idea to life.
All organisations will be required to engage within an Innovation Challenge prior to submitting an application into the Grant Programme
All organisations will have to provide match funding that contributes towards the total eligible cost of the grant application.
The grant will support revenue costs at an average project value of £6,000 at a 50% intervention rate, subject to assessment and applicable state aid regulations.
All organisations will be required to complete an application form which will be appraised through a competitive process. However, the project team will be able to support you through this process.
Please speak to a member of our team if you are interested in accessing grant support or sign up to our email newsletter to find out more about our upcoming challenges.
